Ch. 2

The chapter fire on the mountain is a little crazy, they all have a certain jobs to take care of but they don't really follow that. Piggy as supposed to keep track of the little kids but he couldn't do that. They are a bunch of little kids who don't pay attention to the real life situations and what can happen. They wanted to make a fire to signal where they are and that's a good start, but it didn't end well. The fire that was supposed to be composed ended up burning half of the mountain.

 

There was no one guarding the fire but now that they are learning from there mistakes. I have assigned the hunters to watch the fire so it doesn't happen it again. To be honest the only thing we really have is each other and us fighting and making mistakes will not get us off the island. We also have hope but when we are making mistakes hope starts to fade away.

After that fire burned most of the island I have noticed that some of us are started to loose our hope for living. me knowing that piggy only had one job and failed that job by letting a boy die makes me upset because we need everyone we can get. I  have taken control of most of this stuff or I want to take care of most of the stuff because I'm not leader but I know I can be a better leader.

THE CONCH SHELL

The conch shell in my opinion has more than one symbolism. first of all, that god led them to the shell to keep everyone  together. I also know that when a person has the and can talk without being interrupted. That it’s a way of respect and its teaching the kids how to respect each other. In their case it’s a way of living. The conch shell represents civilization.

D-Day Journal

How was William Golding affected by being apart of D-Day? William Golding has been affected from this D-Day really badly. I'm guessing he was a good person but then after this D-Day, this is something he will never forget. Seeing all these people die, blow up, drowned and float back up to the water, I'm pretty sure that he has been scared for life. Golding has questioned about man kind because of the way people are willing to kill people so easily. He tells himself are we people of good or people of bad? I want to know as well, are we born with the instinct of killing or hugging. if I had to answer that question I can really say that I'm not sure because the government is doing all kinds of things to change us as people. Believe it or not they are poisoning our food and we don't realize it and they do it to water bottles to. When you freeze water bottles they give off this hormone that changes your own. People are good people but people can also be bad so always watch your back. William Golding is now watching his back.
